At our hospital we provide round-the-clock care to the many injured birds that are handed in by members of the public and veterinary clinics as well as raising birds that have had the misfortune to fall from their nests or have been illegally disturbed by building work.
This takes time, money and dedicated care and we desperately need your help....

...as do the birds.

Herring Gulls are in serious decline with their numbers dropping by 40% in under 12 months. No one truly knows the reason why, but over-fishing, building along shorelines and the human habit of littering has forced these beautiful creatures to seek refuge further inland thus finding even more enemies who may harm them.
